smART Club

A recreational art club, otherwise known as smART Club, is available to students in Years 7 to 12. Anyone can join - students do not have to be studying art at the school to enrol. In a relaxed after-school setting, students make art pieces often using materials, processes and techniques not encountered in a class setting.

Four separate activities are offered throughout the year and may include: black and white photography, digital media development, Shibori silk dying, Raku firing, silver jewellery. This is a fun time for students to further explore their creativity and to meet with visiting artists and tutors.

Depending on the activity, a small fee may be involved to cover visiting artist fees.
