Secondary

In the secondary school, girls in Years 7 and 8 study a wide range of subjects, allowing them a broad experience across the disciplines. Students in Years 9 and 10 retain elements of this core curriculum, but make some choices regarding the electives they wish to pursue. The Year 11s and 12s all undertake an English subject and choose five others which are reflective of their interests, abilities and aspirations. In 2019, Year 12s will be the last to obtain an OP score, while the Year 11s will be the first to commence the new Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system and will be the first to graduate with an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) instead of an OP score.
