There are many ways to give to St Margaret’s:
• Make a bequest - leave a gift in your Will to the school
• Make a donation to the Scholarship Fund
• Make a donation to the Building Fund
• Make a donation to the Endowment Fund
Remembering St Margaret's. Have you thought of remembering St Margaret's in your Will? One way that members of the School community can help the Foundation achieve its goals is by providing a bequest to the St Margaret's Foundation. A bequest to the School is a long-lasting gift that helps secure the future of the School and it is an opportunity for you to make a very special, tangible and lasting gift that will touch the lives of St Margaret's students for generations to come.
Funds donated to the Scholarship Fund are used each year to offer students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to secure a St Margaret's education or to support current students whose families may be experiencing circumstances which would otherwise prevent them from completing their education at St Margaret's. Scholarships and bursaries are offered to a small number of students at St Margaret's and are awarded at the discretion of the Principal.
Contributions to the Scholarship Fund may be regarded as an investment in the current student body as funds go to students who are in financial need and/or who demonstrate the ability and commitment to receive a St Margaret's education and be role models for their fellow students.
Each year, St Margaret's offers members of the community the opportunity to contribute funds to support special building projects within the school. These projects vary from year to year, ranging from refurbishment of spaces to the construction of additional facilities. The generosity of our community is always appreciated and enables St Margaret's to bring to fruition its master plan in support of the strategic goals of the school. School fees and levies are not sufficient to fund the ongoing development of the St Margaret's campus. In order to meet the challenge of providing state-of-the-art facilities that will enhance the learning experience of current and future students of St Margaret's Anglican Girls School, the St Margaret's Foundation has introduced an Annual Giving Program; we are asking our current families and supporters to give generously to this program. Each year the school will announce a specific project which will benefit from the funds raised through this annual giving. For the period from 2016 - 2020, the annual giving campaign will be under the umbrella of Enhancing Excellence. Read more about these current projects.
Nothing is stronger than an idea whose time has come

In 2012, The St Margaret's Foundation received a modest donation to establish an Endowment Fund - it was a symbol of faith in the future of St Margaret's and the important role it has in educating young women. The purpose of the fund is to invest and build on the capital, so that ultimately the interest earned on the investment can be used to further the educational offerings to St Margaret's students. The long-term goal of this fund is to supply money in perpetuity, which can be used to support a variety of St Margaret's projects.
Contributions to the Endowment Fund are not tax deductible, but are very much a gift that keeps on giving to the community year after year. We are still in the early days of establishing this fund and it is unlikely that sufficient money will be generated to assist St Margaret's for many years. Nevertheless, it has been important to start this process and ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the school. Contributions will leave a legacy for future St Margaret's students and will be greatly appreciated.
All proceeds from the highly successful Professional Women's Networking Breakfasts go to the Endowment Fund; supporting these breakfasts is helping the future of St Margaret's and its students.
