ESG is an acronym for Environmental, Social and Governance. It is best characterised as a framework that helps stakeholders understand how an organisation is managing risks and opportunities related to these three criteria. It takes the holistic view that sustainability extends beyond just environmental issues. In 2023, St Margaret's is proud to publish its own ESG Statement, (PDF 1.4MB) which provides a guiding set of principles and practices that will help deliver the educational philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of the Society of the Sacred Advent, to educate young women 'for an empowered future that contributes to the common good'.
