Badminton

Section Menu

Badminton is one of St Margaret's gala sports. One team in each division can be entered, in each year group from Years 7 to 10, while students in Years 11 and 12 participate in Senior and Open teams. Each team consists of four to eight players.
 
Training
Training commences in Term 3, with two sessions per a week in consultation with the Coordinator.

Sam's Badminton, Nundah
 
Competition
The QGSSSA badminton competition is held in October, over two Saturdays.
The competition venues are Ipswich Girls' Grammar School, Brisbane State High School and St Laurence's College.
 
Uniform
The school navy HPE uniform is suitable for both training. The navy physical education shorts or skirt and white representative shirt are to be worn on competition days.
