Water Polo

At St Margaret's Water Polo is a popular and competitive sport. Participation is open to students in Years 7 to Year 12, and competition is conducted within the Brisbane Water Polo Association (BWPI). Players are required to pay registration fees that cover membership and insurance. Teams consist of Under 13, Under 14, Under 15, Under 16, Under 18 years, with 13 players per team.
Training and matches are held in Term 4 and Term 1 with training on Wednesday and Friday mornings and afternoons. All players are also required to participate in the school's swimming program once a week.

Competition and Venues
The Brisbane Water Polo Competition is held on Saturday morning in Terms 1 and Term 4 at All Hallows, St Rita's, Stuartholme and Somerville House.
The Katzoot is suitable for both training and competition. Water polo caps are supplied.
Water Polo fees for the season are approx. $320 which includes membership, insurances and entrance fees.
