A family-friendly art-themed festival with a range of free and ticketed activities, workshops and entertainment for all ages.
Wandering the festival, you can browse the art gallery exhibition showcasing the work of accomplished Brisbane artists and shop the lineup of artisan market stalls offering a range of wares including handcrafted gifts and unique homewares. You can also unleash your own inner creative by participating in one of the workshops, learning a new technique from a range of skilled artists. Finally, enjoy a coffee or wine as well as delicious eats from one of the many food stalls whilst soaking up the atmosphere with live musical and theatrical performances.

Workshops
One of the many highlights of the MAYO Arts Festival, is the creative workshops.
Workshops need to be pre booked before the day of the festival.

Rides
For those thrillseeking art lovers, there will be a host of fabulous carnival rides for young and old, to entertain you from 11am to 4pm including:
- giant slide
- skater ride
- super flyer chairs, and
- cup and saucer ride.
Rides will be $6 per ride or you can enjoy unlimited rides for $25 pre-purchased or $30 if purchase on the day.

Barley Sugar Bonanza
Join in the fun activities in the Barley Sugar Garden between 10am and 4pm. Activities will be $6 each or you can purchase a great value pass for seven activities redeemed at any of the following:
- a turn at laughing clowns (three attempts)
- a turn at target toss (three attempts)
- one lucky dip
- pet rock painting
- face painting (between 10am and 1pm only)
- decorate a cupcake
- a turn at Golf Central putt putt

Getting to MAYO
As our families will be aware, parking will be at a premium during MAYO. On the Saturday we will be offering a shuttle bus service between Oriel Park (Wren Street) and the school from 11am, with the last bus leaving the school from the boarder gates at 3pm.
MAYO After Dark
After the day’s festivities, settle in for a drink, BBQ and band at MAYO After Dark from 5pm to 7pm.
