St Margaret's announced four-time finalist in Australian Education Awards

St Margaret’s is proud to be announced as a finalist in four categories in this year’s Australian Education Awards.

The Australian Education Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country’s top performing schools, principals, department heads and teachers.

Principal Ros Curtis has been named a finalist for School Principal of the Year (non-government) for the third consecutive year and is one of only nine Principals chosen nationwide.

Primary teacher Lucardia Moulton has been nominated in the Teachers Mutual Bank Primary School Teacher of the Year category (non-government). Lucardia’ s abilities and professional expertise were also recognised in 2020 when she was awarded a National Excellence in Teaching Award (NEiTA) for Queensland.

St Margaret’s has also been nominated for Secondary School of the Year (non-government) and PeopleBench Best School Strategic Plan.

Winners will be announced on 27th August at the Australian Education Awards in Sydney.
