Endowment Fund - In 2012, The St Margaret's Foundation received a modest donation to establish an Endowment Fund - it was a symbol of faith in the future of St Margaret's and the important role it has in educating young women. The purpose of the fund is to invest and build on the capital, so that ultimately the interest earned on the investment can be used to further the educational offerings to St Margaret's students. The long-term goal of this fund is to supply money in perpetuity, which can be used to support a variety of St Margaret's projects.
Leave a gift in your Will - The Eton Society honours those people who have made a bequest or are considering making a bequest to the St Margaret’s Foundation in their Will. The society meets annually to acknowledge the generous intentions of its members and to keep them abreast of future plans for the school. Joining the Eton Society is about the spirit of intention, and about participation to help build a program which will honour the legacy of the Sisters and contribute to the education of girls for many years to come. School’s cannot thrive, or even perhaps survive, on fees alone. It is imperative to keep fees at a sustainable level to provide access to as many girls as possible while maintaining the level of education and programs for which St Margaret’s is renowned. But in order to keep pace and progress the school and enable it to best prepare girls for increasingly complex futures in a fiercely competitive global marketplace, a philanthropic culture must be the new norm in educational environments. Scholarships and Bursaries - Funds donated to the Scholarship Fund are used each year to offer students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to secure a St Margaret's education or to support current students whose families may be experiencing circumstances which would otherwise prevent them from completing their education at St Margaret's.
Support the Building Fund - Each year, St Margaret's offers members of the community the opportunity to contribute funds to support special building projects within the school. These projects vary from year to year, ranging from refurbishment of spaces to the construction of exciting new facilities. Donations to the Building Fund will help to deliver our new state of the art sports precinct.
