Join us for an Aspiring Young Women's Network breakfast with guest speaker Georgina McManus ('97), Global General Counsel, Manolo Blahnik

From the classrooms of St Margaret's to the boardrooms of London, Georgina McManus has built a remarkable legal career that spans continents, industries and cultures. A proud St Margaret's Old Girl, she is now the Chief Legal Officer for luxury footwear brand Manolo Blahnik, where she combines her legal expertise with a love of fashion, international transactions and business management.

After completing a dual Arts/Law degree at The University of Queensland, Georgina began her career in Brisbane, working as a Judge's Associate in the Supreme Court and then as a solicitor in a commercial law firm. In 2006, she moved to London, where her career progressed through a bank, a major law firm and on to a corporate legal role at Westfield Europe, before joining Manolo Blahnik as General Counsel in 2015. Georgina now leads a legal team with global responsibility and sits on the company's C-Suite, working closely on all things legal, management and business strategy. In 2022, Georgina completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Georgina is also the co-founder of INLAW, an educational initiative supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue careers in law and the executive sponsor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the business.

As a guest speaker at the Aspiring Young Women's Network Breakfast, Georgina will share reflections on her career journey, life in London and the values that continue to guide her.

Her story will encourage students to think boldly about their own futures and what is possible when ambition meets opportunity.
