Upcoming Athletics Camp
With the start of the athletics season only a few weeks away, we are pleased to announce that we will again be running the annual Athletics Camp in 2025. This camp will run from Thursday 19 June through to Sunday 22 June 2025. The camp will provide valuable lead in training to the athletics season and education for students surrounding athletic preparation. There will also be a strong focus on building connections with girls in their age group, and the wider St Margaret’s Athletics squad.
Students from Year 7–12 may participate in this camp. Camp is not compulsory for students. However, it is recommended for those girls who are seeking selection in the 2025 St Margaret’s Athletics QGSSSA Championship team. Spaces are limited for this camp so please register your interest as soon as possible.
Please refer to the Athletics POD page for more information, payment and registration details: The POD - Secondary Athletics.

New Staff Appointment - Sport Administrator
This week we have welcomed a new member to the Sports Team, Lucy Osswald. Lucy will be the first point of contact for all students and visitors coming to the Sport office here at St Margaret’s and will work with the wider team on the administration of our sports program here at school.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Ella H (Year 12) who has been selected in the Under 18 QLD Hockey squads. Ella will compete at the upcoming Australian U18 National Championships to be held in the July school holidays over in Perth - a great achievement!
We are happy to recognise the outstanding achievements and representation of students participating at a national level, outside of the school sport pathway. I look forward to continuing to hear from our community regarding such outstanding achievement. Please email me via: awilliams@stmargarets.qld.edu.au
